Our Story

JMJ Coffee — named for Jesus, Mary, and Joseph — was founded on the belief that good coffee brings people together, and that a business can be a real instrument of faith in action. What began as a passion for roasting has grown into a full-fledged coffee business serving the Sacramento community — from the bag of beans in your kitchen to the coffee cart at your wedding.

We roast in small batches to keep every bag fresh, and we bring that same care to every event we cater. Whether you’re stocking your home with a new favorite roast or planning a gathering that needs great coffee, JMJ Coffee is built to deliver both quality and a personal touch — rooted in our Catholic faith.

Our Mission

JMJ Coffee exists for more than just great coffee. Excess profit from every sale goes toward supporting Catholic missions around the world. We’ve already had the privilege of donating to a Catholic mission in Nigeria, and it’s just the beginning — every bag you buy, every subscription, and every event we cater helps grow that mission further.
